JENN GARRETT is deeply committed to addressing the pressing issues facing our community. With a background in transportation planning with the Florida Department of Transportation, a proud mother of three incredible children, and a graduate of the University of Florida with over two decades of residency in Gainesville, she brings a unique perspective to the table.

First and foremost, she is dedicated to improving our roads and infrastructure. She understands the critical importance of well-maintained roads, bridges, and sidewalks. She will advocate for smart investments in infrastructure that not only improves transportation efficiency but also enhances the overall quality of life for residents.
In addition to infrastructure, Jenn is passionate about bringing jobs back to our community. As a long-time resident of Gainesville, she has seen firsthand the impact of job loss and economic downturns on our community. She works tirelessly to attract businesses, promote entrepreneurship, and create job opportunities that provide stability and prosperity for all residents.

Safety is another top priority for Jenn. As a mother, she believes that every family deserves to feel safe and secure in their own neighborhood. She will support initiatives to improve public safety, including investing in law enforcement, expanding community policing efforts, and implementing traffic calming measures to reduce accidents and protect pedestrians and cyclists.

Her passion is to build a stronger, more vibrant community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. By focusing on issues such as infrastructure, job creation, and safety, Jenn is confident that we can create a brighter future for Alachua County and its residents.​
KEITH PERRY is a businessman and community leader who represented North Central Florida in the Florida Legislature for more than a decade.
First elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2010, he later served in the Florida Senate from 2016 to 2022, representing District 8, which includes Alachua, Putnam, and parts of Marion County.

Beyond public service, Perry is the founder and owner of Perry Roofing Contractors, a Gainesville-based company he started in 1976. His career reflects a blend of entrepreneurship and civic involvement, with a focus on workforce development, small business growth, and improving opportunities for young people.
​
Throughout his time in office, Perry worked on legislation related to education, economic development, and criminal justice reform. Known for being active in both business and community initiatives, he has remained committed to strengthening Florida’s local economies and supporting pathways for the next generation to succeed.
